Updated Rubric for Social Studies

We have a new rubric for our short answer questions in Social Studies...

Brrrr....

Well it has been one chilly week! We have had lots going on this week as we prepare to have our Winter Break starting this Friday! The book reports have been great so far!  Everyone did a wonderful job presenting and really tried hard to look at the rest of the class and make eye contact while talking about their book. 

In math today, we took a short mini-quiz over Order of Operations.  On Friday our Math Interns will have another chance to save some lives in the "Mathospital" and work on earning the chance to become DOCTOR MATH!

Remember the following for Order of Operations:

                                            P parentheses

                                            E exponents

LEFT to RIGHT: depending on which comes first, multiply or divide

                                            M multiply

                                            D divide

 LEFT to RIGHT: depending on which comes first, add or subtract

                                            A add

                                            S subtract

We reviewed for our Social Studies test tomorrow by playing a Jeopardy game.  Make sure you use your study guide to help you review one last time.
