Reminders for Wednesday!

Please don't forget that your Current Events are due today!!

I can't wait for you to each present them to the class!  Also, we will have a short quiz over predicates.

I hope to see everyone Wednesday morning to share in the Simchat Torah celebration as we unroll the torah.

It was great seeing so many of you at lunch today and I am so glad the weather held up for our round 2 of lunch in the sukkah.

The Tuesday Telegram

First we had class meeting, in which we took a CARS test. In our first period, Hebrew, Mora Gila’s Hebrew class sang songs and wrote them in their notebooks. In Mora Karen’s Hebrew class, they took a Hebrew reading test. Then in math we took a multiplication test. In L.A. we looked at Mrs. Salmenson’s blog and watched a video which represented Subjects and Predicates. Then we had reading groups and Studied vocabulary. We also worked on our menus. We went to music and practiced playing on our recorders; we will have a pass off tomorrow! It was fun to have a yummy lunch in the Sukkah, with our parents. We also had a birthday book celebration in the library. We went to the computer lab, and went on a vocab site.  We also worked on finding information for our states project.  We are off to P.E.!
then tomorrow we hope to see everyone at the Simchat Torah celebration at 8:20am in the gym!

I have also added a copy of our schedule at the bottom of our blog...

This Week

Here are some upcoming notes/dates:

This is another short week...

On Wednesday we will be having a Social Studies Test on Lessons 4 and 5 in Chapter 1.  Please review the study guide and vocabulary for this test.  Some good ways to study are making fake tests, making flash cards, being quizzed, teaching the information to a parent or even a dog (stuffed animals adn toys work well too)!  You can also go to quizlet by following this link:  Quizlet for Lessons 4-5 Vocabulary.

We are working on our multiplication facts in my math class right now.  Feel free to play games on the internet or use flashcards to study/review math facts through 12.  Click here to play some games Multiplication Practice.

Current Events are due on September 29th.

Our RULES projects will be done in class, there won't be any work to follow up at home with.

States Project is due on October 18th.

Please join us for lunch in the Sukkah on Monday, September 27th at 12:45pm.

Welcome!

So I just want to take a quick minute to welcome you to our class blog.  I will be updating this often and there will even be some assignments having to do with our blog.  Please do check this regularly and become a "follower."  We will have many adventures throughout the year and I hope that you are with us to follow all of them!
